What is SNAG?

SNAG(Starting New At Golf) contains all the elements of golf but in a modified form, making it an easy and fun way to learn golf. The system builds on strong fundamentals of putting, chipping, pitching and full swing to quickly and effectively develop playing ability. The equipment and instruction techniques allow golf to be learned and played on a soccer field, in a gym, or in a park. The simplified rules and terminology add fun to the learning and playing experience.

We want Iron Kid!

Contact to get more information on having Iron Kid Ministries Iron Kid Sports program in your school or as part of your community program.

What equipment does my child need?

NONE. We provide all necessary equipment and supplies for the class. However, we do recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes for our Iron Kid Sports programs and clothes that can get messy (ie Paint on them) for our Art classes.

Where are classes held?

Wherever we can find space. Gyms, grass area, field, activity room, etc....

What if it rains?

Unfortunately we can't predict the weather and in some circumstances we will be forced to cancel class. We will communicate via email and social media when class is cancelled due to weather or any other event.

Who are the coaches?

Difference Makers (Coaches) are local college students and community members who are committed to making a positive impact on the kids we serve. Each "Difference Maker" goes through an extensive background check and training program to ensure our programs are the highest quality in the industry.

What is the cost?

If your school or organization is selected as one of our locations, you pay a registration fee of $10/child/season, $20/child/school year.  We work hard to secure sponsors and support from businesses and individuals who believe in our mission to cover the additional cost. We must have a sponsor in place in order to provide our program to your location. Never let cost deter you from participating in IKS. We always have scholarship funds available for those who need it.
