IRON KID SOCCER: Introduses the game of soccer to kids ages 3-6 years old, on-site at their preschool, daycare or other childcare facility.
IRON KID GOLF: Our Iron Kid Sports Golf Program introduces the game to kids, 5(Kindergarten)-14 years old, in an after-school or community setting. Our curriculum uses SNAG® (Starting New At Golf) equipment in a fun, non-intimidating environment.
Each IRON KID program has several Impact Focuses (themes)based off of strong Biblical Principles that encourage kids to live beyond themselves. Some of these themes are Inclusion, Courage, Humility, Respect, Leadership, and Responsibility.
SNAG(Starting New At Golf) contains all the elements of golf but in a modified form, making it an easy and fun way to learn golf. The system builds on strong fundamentals of putting, chipping, pitching and full swing to quickly and effectively develop playing ability. The equipment and instruction techniques allow golf to be learned and played on a soccer field, in a gym, or in a park. The simplified rules and terminology add fun to the learning and playing experience.
Coach Zach is a resident of Birmingham, and has been involved in youth sports and nonprofit management for over 15 years. He is the former owner of the Soccer Shots franchise in Central Alabama and has a passion for helping young people reach their potential.
